O God, who didst point out blessed Peter Chrysologus the illustrious Doctor, and divinely choose him to rule and instruct thy Church: grant, we beseech thee, that we may be worthy to have him as our intercessor in heaven, whom we had as our teacher here upon earth. Through thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who with thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, liveth and reigneth God, world without end.
℟.Amen.
