Collect
O God, who gavest grace to blessed Irenaeus thy Martyr and Bishop to overcome false doctrine by the truth of his teaching, and favourably to establish peace in thy Church: give thy people, we beseech thee, constancy in holy religion, and grant us thy peace all the days of our life. Through thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who with thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, liveth and reigneth God, world without end.
℟.Amen.
