Collect

Almighty, everlasting God, who by wholesome self-restraint dost heal both mind and body: we humbly entreat thy Majesty that thou, being well-pleased by the devout prayers of thy fasting people, mayest grant us thy help both now and in the time to come. Through thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who with thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, liveth and reigneth God, world without end.

℟.Amen.
