They are all * ministering spirits, sent forth to minister to them who shall be heirs of salvation.

And the Angel * that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.

Ye holy Angels, * our Guardians, defend us in time of battle, lest we perish in the dreadful day of judgment.

O God, who in thine unspeakable providence deignest to send thy holy Angels for our safekeeping: grant unto us thy suppliants, that we may ever be defended by their protection, and may rejoice in their eternal fellowship. Through thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who with thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, liveth and reigneth God, world without end.
