℟.And madest him to have dominion of the works of thy hands.
At Lauds · Antiphon Common
He that hateth his life * in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
Versicle at Lauds Common
℣.The righteous shall flourish like a palm-tree.
℟.And shall spread abroad like a cedar in Libanus.
Collect
O God, who dost encompass and shield us by the glorious confession of blessed Theodore, thy Martyr: grant that we may profit by his example and be strengthened by his prayer. Through thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who with thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, liveth and reigneth God, world without end.
℟.Amen.
