At Lauds · Antiphon Common
The kingdom of heaven * is likened unto a merchantman seeking goodly pearls; who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
Versicle at Lauds Common
℣.Full of grace are thy lips.
℟.Because God hath blessed thee for ever.
Collect
Almighty everlasting God, author of all virtue and lover of virginity: grant, we beseech thee, that we may be commended by the merits of holy Frideswide, thy Virgin, which were well-pleasing unto thee; and whose life of chastity deserved to win thy favour. Through thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who with thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, liveth and reigneth God, world without end.
℟.Amen.
