Well done, good and faithful servant, * thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.

Versicle at Lauds Common

℣.The Lord guided the righteous in right paths.

℟.And shewed him the kingdom of God.

Collect

We beseech thee, O Lord, let the intercession of blessed John Climacus thine Abbot, obtain for us thy favour: that those things which we are not able to attain by our own merits, we may gain at his petition. Through thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who with thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, liveth and reigneth God, world without end.

℟.Amen.
