At Vespers and Lauds · Antiphon

Thou art the shepherd of the sheep, O chief of the Apostles: unto thee were given the keys of the kingdom of heaven.

Versicle at Vespers and Lauds

℣.Thou art Peter.

℟.And upon this rock I will build my Church.

Collect

O God, who in giving the keys of the kingdom of heaven to thy blessed Apostle Peter, didst confer upon him the priestly power of binding and loosing: grant that by the help of his intercession, we may be delivered from the bonds of our sins. Who with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit livest and reignest God, world without end.

℟.Amen.
