Well done, good and faithful servant, * thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.

Versicle at Lauds Common

℣.The Lord guided the righteous in right paths.

℟.And shewed him the kingdom of God.

Collect Common

O God, who makest us glad by the yearly solemnity of thy blessed Confessor Paul the First Hermit: mercifully grant that we who honour his birthday may also imitate his good deeds. Through thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who with thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, liveth and reigneth God, world without end.

℟.Amen.
