O God, who didst cause the blessed Apostle Peter to be loosed from his chains, and to go forth unhurt: loose, we beseech thee, the chain of our sins, and mercifully shut out from us all evils. Through thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who with thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, liveth and reigneth God, world without end.
